About us
Bath Funeral Directors pride themselves on providing an independent, transparent and trustworthy service.
Filippa Bellaccomo FD
I have worked in the funeral profession since 2016. After 15 years working within the Twerton community as a infant school teaching assistant, I was ready for a change of career.
The funeral profession found me! After experiencing loss within my family and friends, I felt that I had the compassion, empathy and understanding required to assist people at what is one of the most difficult times of their life. I have been privileged to have been asked by many families within my community to look after and care for their loved ones, something that I am deeply honoured to do.
Austin Williams Dip FD, MBIE
I began my career in 1993, working within a Corporate and then a large family run company. Within my nearly 30 years experience in the profession I have achieved the Diploma in Funeral Directing and the Certificate in Embalming.
I have represented the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) at Area and National Level, having been the Area President and Area Secretary for the Western Counties of the NAFD and being elected to serve on the Board of Education for National Office. This allowed me to assist with creating the vision, strategy and plan for training and education services for the benefit of Funeral Service employers and their employees. I consider it an honour and a privilege to have had the opportunity to represent the voice of our Profession.
Ian Taylor-Rowlands Dip FD.
I have been involved in the funeral profession since helping my father establish our family funeral home in the late 1980's. As the family firm grew year on year into the successful business it is today, I gained the understanding and experience required to enable me to give grieving families the support required at this difficult time.
Having lived locally for most of my life, I am now married with a son and enjoy all local sports including Somerset cricket and Bath rugby, when work allows me the chance to go.
Honouring Remembrance Sunday
This year, on Remembrance Sunday, we were proud to have a window display featuring a handcrafted dress made entirely of poppies, alongside a traditional military uniform.
The display stands as a powerful reminder of the bravery, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of those who served. We’re humbled to support and share in this act of remembrance within our community.
